Forever Green is participating in its first ever Give to the Max Day to advance healthier soil, water, and food: with the help of a single field. Now through November 19th, you can help us build the demonstration field that will show how Midwest farms can cover the ground year round.
Bare farm fields during the off-season are leaking nitrogen fertilizer into our rivers and washing away irreplaceable topsoil. Improved water quality and soil health are impossible to achieve, unless we scale innovative solutions that keep living roots in the ground 365 days a year.
At Forever Green, those solutions are already taking root. By developing Continuous Living Cover (CLC) crops—like Kernza®, hybrid hazelnuts, and winter camelina—we are protecting water quality, keeping topsoil in place, and driving new economic opportunities for local farmers and businesses.
This Give to the Max Day, your donation does something tangible. Your tax-deductible gift will directly support the creation of a new Forever Green Demonstration Field.
Opening to the public in spring of 2027, this living showcase will:
- Show, Not Just Tell: Give farmers, commercial partners, students, and community members a hands-on look at how perennial and winter annual crops thrive in real rotations.
- Drive Adoption: Accelerate the adoption of farming and business practices that protect clean drinking water and rebuild healthy soil across the Midwest.
- Build Enthusiasm and Markets: Tell the story of Continuous Living Cover agriculture and create market demand for new products.
Resilient soil, clean drinking water, and thriving rural economies will be possible with your support. Make your tax-deductible gift to Forever Green’s first ever Give to the Max now through November 19th!
