It is with a sense of grievous loss that we share the news that our esteemed colleague, Colin Cureton, died last Thursday, June 17, after suffering a sudden and unexpected health incident. He was surrounded by his family and dear friends.

Colin's youth and energy make this especially shocking. Brilliant, ambitious, curious, and kind, Colin has been a vital force in the growth and expansion of Forever Green's work since his arrival in 2019, as one of our first two dedicated employees.

In the ensuing years, Colin became the inaugural director of our Commercialization, Adoption and Scaling program, which he grew into a team of seven. Colin's contributions have been manifold, spanning operations, communications, hiring, fundraising, partnership development, media relations, and so much more. Perhaps most of all, he has been a gifted strategist across all dimensions of our work, especially in the development of our farmer adoption and market development efforts.

It is impossible to overstate the role Colin has played in what Forever Green has become and where we will go in the future. We know that the true depth of his wisdom and strength of his vision will be further revealed in the months and years ahead.

A full remembrance, link to his obituary, and information about memorial arrangements are forthcoming. In the meantime, we invite you to join us in honoring Colin's life and legacy by contributing to a "collage of voices" to be shared with his family by using the form found at this link.

We are grateful for all the expressions of comfort and support. It means so much to be held within this community during these incomprehensible days. Please do let us know if there is anything we can do to support you.

In sympathy and with gratitude,
The Forever Green Team
